Revved-up francophone rockers Shortpants Romance recently launched debut LP Shotgun Divorce under the auspices of guitarist Ralph “Rülf” Elawani’s vinyl imprint Vintage Violence. Propelled by buzz-saw riffs, lockstep drums and vocals from spazzy cherub Catherine Vien-Labeaume (in English), it’s an album that makes you want to crush beer cans on your forehead.
